In January 2014, my bf and I was doing our winter vacation and we stopped by Vienna. It was our first time there and we wanted to stay in a hotel that has a modern contemporary touch to it and also convenient for us. My bf found Le Méridien.

We walked down a long hospital-like hallway to our room. When I entered the room, I was disappointed with our 5 star’s impression. The bed, in my opinion, was kind of small. It’s a queen size bed and I was actually expecting a king at least.

The shower was pretty cool and relaxing though I find the bathroom a little dark. |
I didn’t think that 3 square meter of difference between a Superior and Deluxe room will make that much of a difference. My advise to you is that, if you intend to stay in this hotel, do pick at least a Deluxe Room. Unless you wouldn’t mind sleeping very close to each other.

Though, I must give credit to the location of this hotel. It’s definitely in a prime location where a lot of tourist attractions are just a walk away. There’s a convenience store just a throw stone from the hotel. The train station is just around the corner as well. The shopping area is also just a 10 minutes walk from this hotel. If we were to visit Vienna again, we would like to keep our options open and probably try another hotel.
