After almost a whole year of not cutting and coloring my hair, it’s time to do just that. This year, I will be starting my new hair journey with Aki Hair Studio.

WHY AKI HAIR STUDIO?
Now, you might think that there are so many hair salons out there, why Aki Hair Studio? The question should be why not? Aki Hair Studio is a well-established hair salon. It was established 10 years ago. The salon is bright, clean and has a classic touch with a modern twist.
There are 4 staffs in total working at the hair salon, with 2 of them being very experienced hairstylists – Aki Masayuki & Eiji Yamasaki. I’ve been going for my manicure at Yu Nail+Eyelash Académie et Salon for years and they’re just next door from Aki Hair Studio. I’ve known Aki for years, but this year, I finally made a decision to try his skills.
WHO IS AKI?
Aki Masayuki or Aki in short, is the owner of Aki Hair Studio. He has been in the hairstyling industry for almost 22 years. His expertise in the field is extensive. He is a very established hairdresser in Malaysia, for more than 12 years now, and had helped other hair salon startups while he is here.
Aki had showed much interest in hair at a very young age. He was very fond of how hair could change someone’s style. So he developed his skills in his early years and had been in this industry ever since.
WHAT WOULD AKI DO TO MY HAIR?
Since my last hair cut and color was in June 2020, Aki checked my hair length and condition. He was really professional about it and consulted me before he did anything. He asked if he can cut it short to make sure that I’m able to accept the length.
As for coloring, my main concern was my roots were showing and my gray hair too! So, Aki made sure he had those covered before he does any major coloring.
HOW LONG DID I SPENT IN THE SALON?
My record was spending 8 hours in a hair salon. So I was really worried that I had to sit in the salon for a long time but, to my surprise, I only spent 2.5 hours there! Aki and his crew were very quick and accurate with the cut and color.
When I make my customer smile, that’s real success.
