Leather platform loafer is a big deal at the moment. There are so many cool looking ones everywhere. It was hard to choose but eventually I found my ultimate favorite pair. My Prada Leather Platform Loafer in Tobacco color.

FIRST CHOICE

Actually, my 1st choice of platform loafer wasn’t from Prada. It was a Gucci Leather Lug Sole. I love the masculine appeal and those chunky platform just bring out the character, in my opinion.

Unfortunately, Gucci stores in Malaysia does not carry this platform loafer. I was contemplating if I want to buy it from Farfetch or Net-A-Porter. Reason being was I don’t know if the shoes would be able to fit with size 38.5. If it doesn’t, I would have been taxed and it isn’t refundable, even when I return the shoes.

After much research, I thought Louis Vuitton Academy Loafer looks good too. This was their Spring/Summer 2020 collection. I wanted the Bordeaux or Wine color. Although, my 1st choice is still the Gucci Leather Lug Sole because I like the masculine chunky sole.

I was almost tempted to take a look at this pair at the Louis Vuitton store. Then, I saw the long lines outside the store and I’m like forget it. I’m not going to waste my time waiting in line.

WHY PRADA

I believe it was just fated. We just found each other at the right timing. Good things come to those who wait I suppose.

I was having lunch one day with my friend and we decided to go have a look at what’s new in Prada Pavilion store. Then, I saw this pair of Prada Leather Platform Loafer and I fell in love with the color and look!

I had a choice of Black and this one, Tobacco. Once I put it on, I knew which one I wanted. Albeit the sole is not as chunky compared to Gucci but the different tones between the leather and sole makes it so outstanding.

I have no regrets in getting this pair of platform loafer. In my head, I’ve already had so many ideas how I’m going to style this pair of Prada Leather Platform Loafer.
