This year, Dior 2021 Cruise Collection brought us to Puglia, Italy. A place very close to Maria Grazia Chiuri’s heart.

Puglia is in the province of Lecce, and a place rich with culture and arts. Long before the health crisis and the confinement, Dior already had the plan to showcase these artisans and artists. It was essential for Dior to continue these collaborations, so that the beauty of their gestures, emotion and poetry may endure.

Dior 2021 Cruise Collection was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and in collaboration with the house of Fratelli Parisi. Maria took the inspiration from the symbolic importance of these traditional luminous architectures.

These colorful compositions pay homage to local communities and encourage women’s empowerment. The delicate prints and embroideries on the collection’s creations, are an ode to festivities, conviviality and the power of magical and popular rites perpetuated by the artists and inhabitants of Puglia.

INVESTMENT TIPS

I’m one who always believe in long-term investment when it comes to fashion. My advise would always be, getting something where the style will last forever if possible.

From the Dior 2021 Cruise Collection, my investment pieces would be:

• Bar jacket – White (Look 3) or Black (Look 69). Great for corporate wear.
• Mid-Calves boots – Brown or Black. Pair with shorts or long skirt.
• Short sleeve shirt – Pair it with almost anything!
• Double buckle waist belt – Enhance your waistline and easy to mix & match with pants or skirts.
• Floral skirt or pants – Re-use it every spring or summer. It’s perfect!
• Double pocket straight-line jacket – Casual jacket you can use anytime. Whether it’s work or casual Fridays.
• Greek goddess dresses – It’ll always be in demand. It’s great for a romantic getaway, a wedding dinner or a birthday dinner with friends.
• Corset belt – It’ll make anyone look slim & it’s a statement piece.
