I finally have the guts to share my very first hair tutorial! It might look easy but it took me a lot of practice to get this perfect wavy hair using my hair straightener.
Let me present you this “3 steps to get wavy hair” video, which I tried to make it as simple as possible.
STEP 1 – PREPARE
All I needed to prepare were these 3 items:
- Straightener – GHD Styler
- Hair clips – Drybar Hair Clips
- Pre-Curl Hair Spray – Big Sexy Hair Weather Proof Humidity Resistance Spray
- Post-Curl Hair Spray – Big Sexy Hair Get Layered
STEP 2 – WAVE IT
It looked simple now to me because I’ve done this hundreds of time. If you just started, try practicing it a few more times. You’ll get that wavy hair like mine in no time.
STEP 3 – FINISHING TOUCH
This step is crucial. You have to decide the length of time you want your curl to stay wavy. If you want this natural wave to stay longer, you need to spray on some humidity spray first. This will keep your hair dry and not let the humidity limp the hair and soften the wave.

Next, if you prefer the wave to stay on for up to 6 hours, I would suggest a strong hold volume spray. If you are not planning to let it stay wavy for that long, just a medium hold spray would do.
