Boy, am I glad that sneakers are a hit now. Sneakers used to be just for workouts, but now they’re beyond that. I wanted my pair of sneakers to fit my everyday lifestyle. Recently I found my go-to everyday shoes – the NIKE REACT.
PICKING THE RIGHT SHOES
How do you pick the right pair of sneakers for yourself? For me, I wanted it to be comfortable, light, but without compromising on support. Oh, and it must be stylish too and able to match my #OOTD. Hence, I found the Nike Epic Phantom React Flyknit fitting, like a glove.
I wasn’t too sure if size UK 5.5 or UK 6 fits me so I ordered both. I already had a pair of indoor workout shoes from Nike which is a size UK 5.5, but every pair of shoes is designed differently. So I ordered both sizes with the intention of returning one.
After trying both on, I found size UK 6 fits me well with socks on. The sock-like Nike React hugs the feet snuggly. So, I would suggest on sizing up on this one. Also, do sign up to be a Nikeplus Member to enjoy free returns.
TRAVEL WITH COMFORT
This pair of Nike React is a great choice for travel too. The shoes are super lightweight and the best part is, it doesn’t have shoelaces! It makes going out so much easier. Just slip-in and go.
I walked in Tokyo the entire day with it and my feet doesn’t feel tired at all, since the shoes are so light. In fact, I have bunions on both feet, so fitting into shoes like this Nike Epic Phantom React Flyknit is a blessing. The material hugs and mould into the shape of my feet.
Seriously, it takes so little effort to walk in this pair of shoes. I don’t even know it’s there sometimes. Matching it with casual outfits is a breeze. It matches with almost anything and I even wore it on the plane. Taking it off on the plane and wearing it back on when I arrived at my destination requires very minimal effort.
FITTING MY LIFESTYLE
Well, sneakers are meant for workouts as well, although exercising isn’t really my favorite thing to do, but I know it’s good for my health. In order to make it more interesting, I usually drag Coffee, my beagle, along for a jog or walk.
Coffee is quite an energetic dog, so I’ll burn his energy by jogging and eventually slow down to a walk. Our cardio workout session usually takes about 40 minutes. Now, it doesn’t even feel like it requires much effort since Nike React is so light to run and walk in.
