Spring and Summer are the best times to do #OOTD photoshoots. There are so many mix and match you can do with what you have in the closet. You can actually walk around town in your OOTD without feeling like you’re wearing too little.
Fendi will go down in my history book, to be the first to convince me into getting a logo bag.
I recently found that I’ve been using these 5 items on a repeat. Some, I didn’t even think I’ll like them in the first place. In my opinion, here are 5 must haves in your closet this spring/summer:
Printed Dress
A pretty printed dress can be worn in any season. Hence, if you found one, it’s for keeps. Actually I found mine at Zara. It’s pretty yet so comfortable. At first, I bought one and worn it to an Hermés event (on my Instagram). At the same time, I found the same design but with a different pattern. I grabbed both! If you’re wondering how do I wear this in cooler autumn days? I’ll wear a thermal top, stockings and pair it with knee-high or ankle boots. Last but not least, I’ll wear a thick faux fur jacket as outerwear. I bet, you’ll look so stylish in cooler days. Printed Dress suggestions:
Logo/Printed Bag
This is one item which I’ve never been fond off previously. If you’ve noticed, I had never own a monogram or logo bag. Well, that’s until I found this Fendi Kan I Logo Bag. Fendi will go down in my history book, to be the first to convince me into getting a logo bag.
It’s a very versatile bag where I can dress up or down with this bag. I chose brown because I like how it looked a little on the vintage side yet the design of the bag is modern. I believe this bag will not go out of style. Monogram stays around for a long time! I’ll treat this bag as an investment. Logo/Printed bags suggestions:
Kitten Heels
Lately, there are so many kitten heels emerging. Many brands are making these kitten heel shoes so popular. Brands such as Miu Miu, Prada and Fendi are definitely at the forefront of my head. They’re much more comfortable to wear than high heels. I understand that not many have the height to wear kitten heels but if you pair it with a flare bottom jeans, you’ll look like you have long legs. I like wearing them with pencil skirts and culottes too. Kitten Heels suggestions:
Wide Legged-Jeans
Wide legged or flare bottom jeans are making a come back! I find that it’s one item that can give the illusion of long legs. Few of my favorites are from 7 For All Mankind and Victoria by Victoria Beckham. Just look at how long Victoria’s legs are when she wear one?
Actually, I like some of Stella McCartney’s wide legged jeans too. They’re very soft and the colors are nice too. Wide legged jeans are great with a sweater or cropped top or even just a tee. Slip on a pair of high heels or boots and you’ll have legs for days. Wide legged-jeans suggestions:
Tiny Sunglasses
This is a hit or miss with many. It’s either you like them or you don’t. Initially I didn’t think it was practical too. I thought, what will this tiny sunglasses do? Will it even protect my eyes? In actual fact, this tiny sunglasses is only meant to look good. Gigi & Bella Hadid carried this trend real well.
When this trend first started, I thought I’ll just sit through it. Until recently when I was in Miu Miu Marina Bay Sands. I was there for the store’s grand opening party and gave this tiny sunglasses a try and I fell in love with it! Well, I guess I found my tiny sunglasses style in Miu Miu after all. I believe this trend isn’t for everyone but if you really like it, don’t stop trying till you find the right pair for yourself.
