I am Chinese so very obviously, I’m not in the category of those that have longer, fuller eyelashes. I’m always envious of people that are born with thick and long lashes.
Having said that, it doesn’t mean that it’s the end of the world for me. When life gives you lemon, make lemonade right? So, instead of crying over not so long and full lashes, I moved on to discover what is out there that can give me longer, fuller eyelashes.
With Eyelash Extension, I can get away with minimal makeup and still look like I #gotuplikethis.
The fastest way of course is to stick on false lashes. In fact, I have a few from Shu Uemura and the quality is great. Although, I really don’t like putting on false lashes because it doesn’t look natural and it take loads of practice.
It took me a while to go around doing some research and finally, Yuki from Yu Nail + Eyelash Académie et Salon shared these 4 ways to achieve longer, fuller eyelashes with me.
1. Lash Treatment

Actually I gave this Lash Treatment a try for almost 2 months and I can’t believe what happened. It’s a miracle! I saw it with my own eyes that my eyelashes were longer and fuller by the time it reached a month. At 2 months, my lashes actually grew up to 10mm. *holy moly*
One treatment takes only 30 minutes. It’s totally worth those time spent on my treatments. Now, my lashes are much easier to curl and once I applied my mascara, it looked so thick and full. 2. Apply Lash Serum

In order for you to see results from the Lash Treatment, the help from home care is important too. Yuki, the owner of Yu Nail + Eyelash Académie et Salon, gave me a ILASH to apply once a day at home. ILASH is an eye lash Conditioning Serum. It is safe for sensitive eyes and it has been safely tested by Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist.

Before my night skincare routine, I’ll apply the lash serum on both my top and lower lashes. I use it like how I draw my eyeliner. After application, I let it dry for a minute or two. Then proceed with my night skincare routine. Just once a day and that’s all you need to achieve longer, fuller eyelashes.
3. Eyelash Extension

This is the next fastest way to achieve longer and fuller lashes without using false lashes. It used to be my favorite especially when I travel. I can get away with minimal makeup and still look like I #gotuplikethis. Yu Nail + Eyelash Académie et Salon do provide this service as well. You can return after 2 weeks to touch-up if your lashes starts to a lot more.
Unfortunately, after a week or once my lashes start to grow and it can get unruly. It’s like my my eyelashes can get rebellious and have a mind on it’s own. I’ve to use a lash comb to keep combing it everyday. Albeit troublesome after a week, it does look very good in pictures and I can even getaway with no eyeshadow.
4. Use Volumized Mascara

Through my experience with volumized mascaras, the brushes are usually much thicker. I always have issues in re-brushing my lashes due to clumps that sit in between my lashes. *blame it on the Chinese blood in me*.
There’s only a few mascaras that I stick to for volume such as Buxom Lash Waterproof Mascara and IT Cosmetics 3-in-1 Black Primer Mascara. Till Yuki introduced me to SoAddicted Lashaddict Major Drama Mascara. It curled and volumized my lashes nicely without residues on it.
