Do you know that cleansing oil was the first item created by Shu Uemura? Yup! When Mr Shu Uemura discovered the cleansing oil in Hollywood, he believed that it is the secret to beautiful skin. Then, he brought the idea back to Japan and was the first company to make cleansing oil in 1967. Today, Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil turns 50!
The beauty of cleansing oil is that it is the most effective way to remove all impurities – Shu Uemura
Here are the 3 secrets to Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil:
- Ultimate cleansing performance
- Luxurious comfort during application
- Soft, smooth moisturised and non-greasy after cleanse
My Verdict:
I’ve been a fan of Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil for almost 6 years now. Before I started using cleansing oil, I heard so much negative feedback about using cleansing oil. I’ve heard things such as oil will clog the pores, give you breakouts and using just oil itself, isn’t clean enough. All these are just myths. The emulsion in Shu Uemura’s Cleansing Oil is so fine that it doesn’t clog pores and washes away all impurities with water.
I had previously tried the Blanc Chroma Brightening and Polishing Gentle Cleansing Oil. It contains clay which helps to brighten skin and keep those melanin under control. Then I went ahead and tried the Ultime8 Cleansing Oil. I just love the rich texture and how it cleared my makeup so quickly.
As you can see, my huge bottle of Ultime8 had been used to the last drop, and now the Anti/Oxi Pollutant & Dullness Clarifying Cleansing Oil arrived just at the right time. It contains Papaya, Moringa and Green Tea Extracts. I love the refreshing Green Tea scent and how it left my skin feeling soft and fresh. I understand that by using cleansing oil to cleanse is good enough, but I’m use to double cleansing, So, I still use my foam cleanser after removing my makeup with my cleansing oil.
Here’s a short video I made to show you just 4 simple steps to use Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil.
