Remember the launch of Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion High Coverage in February? Yen was at the event and she showed the picture above on Instagram (@stilettoesdiva). The new Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion High Coverage comes with SPF50+/PA+++ and Polar Technology. It protects your skin from UVA and UVB for the whole day. Also, with the Polar Technology, it gives you a slight cooling sensation after an application, which is superb for our hot and humid climate in Malaysia.

Credit to this new technology by Lancome, it is not only a make-up but also a skincare product. It is enriched with ultra-targeted skin care ingredients to reach the ideal Lively Rosy Bright skin: a corn extract known for its anti-pollution properties, extracts of rose, mint and gentian for their anti-inflammatory properties, a combination of vitamin CG and a derivative of resorcinol to combat excessive production of melanin, a moisturising agent.

MY REVIEW

I find the packaging very unusual compare to a regular compact powder. The cushion that holds the foundation is somewhat hexagonal snowflake-like and there is a net on top of the cushion to sieve out excess liquid foundation. This clever technology is so that the given sponge will pick up just enough amount of foundation. In my opinion, the outer case itself is elegant looking.

The texture is velvety and has a matte finish which suits me well as I have a combination skin. It does give a great coverage for my skin especially at places with stubborn blemish spots and acne marks. I really adore this cushion foundation so much that I take it with me everyday! It’s easy for an afternoon touch-up and it sure give me a bright and luminous complexion all day long.
