In a few more days, October will be over. Again, I would like to know if you’ve checked your breast? If you have not, by reading, I hope it would be a reminder to you to have your breast checked. Even better if you have a yearly medical check, which includes breast check by the doctor as well. I’ve done my medical check last week and by next week, I’ll be able to collect my report. I’ve not heard any alarming news from the doctors during the process last week. I guess I’ll take that as a positive sign.

Recently, I had a friend who’s mom passed on due to lung cancer. She’s not a smoker and non of her immediate family smokes. By the time she did her medical check due to excruciating pain on her back, her family discovered her cancer was already at the 4th stage. From the day she found out that she had cancer to the day she took her last breath, it was only a year.

I’m not trying to scare you when you read this but, for you to be aware that your health is important and there are people that care for you. Please take good care of your health by getting your body check yearly. Prevention is better than cure.
