The very popular skin care brand, LA MER, proudly presents their newest member of the family – The Renewal Oil. Most of LA MER’s products are formulated with The Miracle Broth™  and so does this oil. The Renewal Oil includes natural essential oils such as eucalyptus and sesame. Eucalyptus are well known for anti-inflammation and anti-bacteria. While sesame oil is great for repairing damaged skin cells. Let me share my personal experience with you.

Let’s just say, for the past week, it has been rough for me. Due to a personal reason (which I will share soon), I’ve not been getting enough rest. Also, my skin has been exposed to harsh weather due to on-off haze issue here and I haven’t been eating right. I’ve combination skin and it’s prone to break-out quite frequently. With these conditions, how can it not be breaking out like crazy, right? Miraculously, it has been holding up pretty good!

I was wondering why? Then I realized that I’ve been using The Renewal Oil for about a week now. Besides the lack of sleep, change in eating pattern and harsh weather condition, this oil has helped my skin cope well with all these lifestyle changes. Of course, there were 2 break-outs which is only normal when I’m faced with such scenario. Apart from that, I believe the oil helped hydrate and kept my skin under control.

This is how I incorporate The Renewal Oil into my day & night skincare routine:

Morning

1. Cleanse
2. Eye Cream
3. La Mer Treatment Lotion
4. The Regenerating Serum
5. The Renewal Oil + The Moisturizing Gel Cream (Gently shake the bottle a few times, press 2 drops of oil onto a scoop of moisturizer with just the right amount for my face & neck)
6. Sunblock

Night

1. Cleanse
2. Eye Cream
3. La Mer Treatment Lotion
4. La Mer The Concentrate
5. The Renewal Oil + The Moisturizing Soft Cream (the same amount as the morning routine. I use Cream at night to increase the level of moisture on my skin)
