POREraser CC in 4 different shades // Ivory, Pink, Beige and Deep Beige. |
This mousse’s textured foundation base is light and great for minimising pores appearance and control shine. A foundation base is suppose to blur imperfections on your skin so that it appears even and natural, without looking artificial. According to Yuji Asano (Shu Uemura’s International Chief Makeup Artist), the four shades are specially designed for Asian skins tones. You can choose the shades depending on your desired look and skin condition.
I picked Beige for my skin. Previously I’ve some acne on my chin and nose area. Due to that, there are some left over marks, so Beige is great to cover redness and discoloration. |
Stage Performer Glow Creator |
You can use glow creator either in the beginning as a base or in the end as a finishing touch. If you would like to use it as a base, squeeze a pearl size amount onto your palm and spread it gently all over your face. After that, follow with your foundation.
If you would like to use it as a finishing touch like me, apply on a few specific areas after the foundation step. Dab the glow creator on top of the cheekbone, on the bone under your eyebrows and centre of the forehead.
Just a pearl size amount and it will give a natural glow at the right places when light shines on your skin. |

If you find some colors too dramatic, you can go for some subtle colors like navy, black or brown. They’re long lasting, waterproof and easy to remove. I used it more than 8 hours and it didn’t smudge at all!
I will show you more inspirational pictures in tomorrow’s post. I am sure you’ll love it and you might actually take some pointers and walk out your door this weekend with the same or similar make up.

Laque Supreme in Pink (PK01) |
I’ve previously talked about this lipstick by Shu Uemura called Laque Supreme (post here) and till today, I still love it! The texture is watery-like and it gave me this shiny and healthy glow on my lips. It last really long as well, even after food and it is not sticky. If you have a chance, do give it a try. I rate it 5 out of 5!
Shu Uemura’s Cleansing Oil *picture from shuuemura.com |
Last but not least, after a whole day with your makeup on, it is very important to totally clean your skin without stripping off the moisture. At first I was quite skeptical about using cleansing oil to remove my makeup. That’s because I heard many feedback on more acne popping out after using a cleansing oil as a makeup remover. Thank goodness it worked for me. I usually double cleanse in the evening. I use the Blanc Chroma Cleansing Oil to remove my make up first. Then followed by a foaming cleanser. My skin feels great after using the cleansing oil.
Oh, another tip for you. You can use a few drops of Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil to clean your brushes, then follow by a foam cleanser. Just like your skin, you can double cleanse the brushes used for liquid foundation and cream concealer. Leave your brush to dry like usual after that. Your brushes will look clean and they will thank you for that =)
