It’s winter in Paris so rain isn’t something new. Well, the Hunter boots are new though. It was my birthday present from my sister last year. She knew how much I talked about and loved it but never  purchased it. The reason being? It’s freaking hot and humid in Kuala Lumpur, so even though it rains a lot, I will sweat so much that it will be like flooding on the inside.

Since I’m here in Paris now, I have every reason to wear it out, especially on rainy days. I bragged about it to my bf so much that it made him think twice about owning a pair. So, we set on an adventure to go La Fayette for Hunter boots hunting. Let me tell you, it is definitely not easy to find Hunter boots for men here in Paris. Our mission failed big time! The sales lady in La Fayette sent us to another branch in Bazaar Hotel De Ville (BHV) saying they have a bigger size. We still ended up empty handed because they ran out of bigger sizes and asked us to order online instead.

If I would have known about this, I would have ordered it from Shopbop and ship it instead. Oh well, now we know. So for those of you who’re still thinking of a present for your husband/bf/brother/best friend, look into Hunter boots. They’re a little heavy but very comfortable and keep your feet extremely dry on rainy days.
