Basilica Sacré Coeur |
In translation, it’s called Church of the Sacred Heart. This church is beautiful and grand but if you’re visiting Paris for the first time and time is not on your side, do visit Notre Dame instead. In my opinion, the interior of Notre Dame is more interesting than Basilica Sacré Coeur. Unfortunately, I couldn’t show you much of the interior except for this picture below which I took from Wikipedia. They do not allow cameras in there. Oh, and no cap is allowed. My bf was asked to remove his cap in order to get in.
If you would like to visit Basilica Sacré Coeur by Metro (subway), be prepared to walk a lot! Do wear comfortable shoes such as
sneakers or flat
boots. We had to walked two flights of major staircases and that almost took my breath away. You have another option too, just pay for the cable car ride. It was a beautiful day when we were there and it’s a waste not to be out and about.

Talking about sneakers, I realise that Adidas recently collaborated with Mary Katrantzou and created some cool sneakers! Have you check them out? These are a few of my favorites =)
