When I received an invitation to attend Hermés Silk Ball, what do you think I would say? HELL YEAH!! I was excited and of course very happy to be given this opportunity to celebrate a wonderful night with Hermés =)

After the happiness and excitement sink in, my next question was “What will I be wearing to the ball?” Then I panicked a little as I do not have any silk formal dresses nor any silk scarves! The first place I went to was Pinterest which I found a way to wear silk scarves. After 2 days I didn’t really like that idea.

While I was editing pictures of MODA event [this post], that’s when I saw Justin Yap’s beautiful design. The next day, I made an appointment to visit him. During the visit, he asked me a few questions and picked this beautiful dress for me. What can I say? He’s a popular Malaysian designer and you don’t get there without knowing your stuff. So there you go! I went to the ball proudly wearing Justin’s beautiful dress which makes me beam with glee. I will show you some of Justin’s recent work in the next post. You’ll be amazed =)
