What you’re going to see in this post would make it look like I went to Singapore to feast instead of a short holiday. In fact, I was actually there with a few friends and one of them were visiting Singapore for the very first time. So I brought her around and one of the day we went to Universal Studio. We had really good food this time around. Singapore definitely have some famous and exquisite restaurants. I’ll show you through my pictures.
Here are some of the snippets of my Singapore trip in March. Hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.

Was having fun trying out some dresses in Miu Miu. I thought this dress was really nice =) |

My favorite place in the entire Universal Studio! =D |
|
Oh, how nice of them to name a planet after me =D |

I forgot to bring my passport along so I’ve to hang around outside the casino while waiting for my friends who went in to explore. In fact, I’ve not been in there myself. So, if you’re visiting Singapore and would love to visit the casino, remember to bring along your passport! Tourists enter for free while Singaporeans need to pay a fee to get it. |

My bf was craving for some good steak so we went to Ruth’s Chris. It’s a popular American steak house and it’s definitely worth paying a visit. If you’re in Singapore and would love to pay a visit, just click on the link here and give them a call. |

I ordered scallops for appetizer (top bottom) and Ribeye Steak as main (top right). They’re so good!! |

After some shopping in ION Orchard, we stopped by Charlie & Co. for lunch. It was recommended by a friend who spoke highly about this place. The burger’s actually juicy and delicious! I did some Googling and found some info about this place. It’s an Australian burger joint which started in Sydney and they used Australian Wagyu for their patties. No wonder it’s so good. |

This is the highlight of this trip! My bf brought me for a treat to CUT, opened by a Michelin 3 star master chef and restaurateur, Woflgang Puck. I must say my taste buds were very please that night =) |
|
Did you spot Katy Perry at the back? I mean on the wall? |
|
I started with appetizer – Hokkaido Scallop Carpaccio. Hmmm hmm hmm…. |

Ok, this might not be the best picture but it’s the best beef I’ve had so far. I had a Grilled Kobe beef from Honshu Japan. The beef was grilled over hard wood and charcoal. The meat was so tender and with one bite, the juice just oozes out with sweetness. Heavenly! |

Even though I was really full after the main course, I can’t help but to order the last dish. Come on, how can a woman pass a plate of dessert when it’s called “Valrhona Chocolate Souffle with summer berries and Vanilla Wafer Gallette”?? If you can, you must really have a stronger will power than me. |

Oh, and along the way, we had wine and we opened a bottle of Tokaji too. Tokaji is a dessert wine from Hungary and it’s one of the best dessert wine out there! It’s not very popular but every sommelier will know Tokaji (pronounced Tokai). I wish Hungary will promote Tokaji more because it’s a really really good dessert wine and it’s affordable too. |
Let’s just say that night, we spent quite a bit in Cut but we left with a very happy face. Maybe the wine kind of play a part in making us very happy as well. LOL! The only thing that I find disturbing in Cut was the noise level. For a fine dining place, I find myself needing to speak pretty loud so that my partner can hear what I say. Apart from that, service was top notch and wine list is excellent! =)
So tell me, do you have any short holiday plans coming up soon?
