If you would like to know more about Kuala Lumpur, go to Part 1 & Part 2.
Today I will introduce 2 famous places in Kuala Lumpur. Bukit Bintang (Star Hill as direct translation) and Chinatown. Bukit Bintang has been around for as long as I can remember. It could probably be 40 years by now. It has always been a street filled with lightings and festive decorations. On this street, there’s a few 5 star hotels including Westin, JW Mariott and Grand Millenium. There’s tonnes of shopping malls too. The biggest mall currently is Pavilion. One can go broke in this mall unless you have tonnes of moolah to shop.
We stopped by at Chinatown for lunch. If you are here, you must definitely visit Chinatown for the local food. Just bear with the cleanliness and you will definitely love the food there. If you are into fake branded goods, there’s tonnes here too! It’s a bargain galore. You’ve got to start bargaining from half the price the seller offer. I usually go to Chinatown to buy festive decoration ornaments. There’s a few wholesaler which sell really nice Christmas decoration stuff there.
I hope now you’ll know me better and the city I’m from too. If you would like to visit and needed further details, do not hesitate to write to me at stilettoes.diva@gmail.com
