My sister and I went to Monterey last weekend weekends and had a great time. We got there late on Friday and was just on time to catch the latest movie, The Hunger Game. Have you watched it? I think it was good. I actually read the book on the plane before I watched this movie. I’m actually anxious for the next one. I’ll probably get the rest of the 2 books to read 1st for now.
I travelled light this time so I’m kind of limited with choices in shoes =) On Saturday, it was raining the whole day and I find it quite a dread. So we do mostly indoor activities like visiting Monterey Bay Aquarium and walked along Cannery Row. Then we had dinner at the very 1st Bubba Gump restaurant open in 1996. Which is right after the movie Forrest Gump.
Sunday was a great day. Lucky me! I get some sun and partly cloudy sky. So it was not so bad after all. I get to take some outdoor pictures and walk the dogs. They got to travel with us but have to stay in the car throughout the whole journey though. They both belong to my sister. Aren’t they cute?
We went to the Old Fisherman’s Wharf and actually wanted to catch a boat out to do whale watching but we were too late. The last boat left an hour before we were there. Oh well..I guess it’s not meant to be this time. I think I’ll show you more pictures instead of boring you with my story. Hope you have a great weekend too =)
